BELLA DOCTOR JUST CALL ME TO LET ME KNOW SHES GOING INTO SURGERY TONIGHT OR TOMORROW MORNING THEIR JUST WAITING FOR HER BLOOD RESULTS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS OKAY. IS A LITTLE NERVE WRECKING AND IM VERY SCARED HOW BELLA IS GOING TO BE MENTALLY. I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS A SIGN THAT MAYBE I SHOULDNT DO SURGERY SINCE SHE WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULE TODAY EARLY MORNING 🙁
I wouldn’t read too much into the timing. I know there are other members on the site who have had procedures delayed for various reasons. And you want the surgeon to do this when everything is ready, not rushed or when he/she is tired. Take a deep breathe and don’t second guess your decision. Dogs emotional and mental adaptability is amazing and very different from humans. They don’t sit around feeling disabled or diminished. They just move forward and figure out how to do whatever they want to do. 😀

Deep breath. Although every surgery has risk, she is in the care of professionals, and really, you wouldn’t have made this decision if there was a better choice. None of us joined the Tripawd Nation for any reason other than necessity. We will all be looking forward to your post surgical update.
i will update as soon as everything is done with and thursday needs to hurry so i can have her back at home with me. i miss her so much
Another thing silver lining. Seems silly, but Bella does not have cancer. Once you get through this surgery she has her full normal life ahead of her. Maybe spend your “worry time” researching rehab exercises for her, or finding a rehab therapist in your area? You and Bella have a road ahead of you that many of us wish we were on. Just think about how happy you will be when the staples come out about day 10 and you start seeing improvement day after day!

bella is on fluids and is a bit hyper doctor said and shes doing good will start surgery in couple hours. he will call me as soon as she wakes up

bella got surgery yesterday morning doctor call me last night shes doing okay. just said looks a bit sad but that would be only for few weeks. 🙁
